Knights in Action Volunteers Needed
Dale City Project
Saturday, May 31, 2008

Hello Everyone,

It seems as though this time of the year everyone has so many commitments.  Based on the recent responses or lack thereof Joe Mainey and I agreed that that this weekend is not going to work because we do need MANPOWER for the installation of the ceiling.  Therefore we are going to reschedule this opportunity to volunteer, for the
31st of May from 8 to 2 PM.  I really need some of you to step up to the plate and make this commitment because once this is done a lot of the remaining work is painting and cabinets.  PLEASE RESPOND TO ME SO I WILL KNOW WHO CAN MAKE IT.  Thanks for wanting to help this family and with your generosity comes tremendous blessings. Have a wonderful weekend and to all your Mothers and Wives I wish a Blessed and Memorable Happy Mother's Day!

Subject: Trip to Dale City on May 3rd to help a family in need - tools to bring

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank Brian Vaccaro for the efforts he has made to bring a person into this project who really knows what he is doing when it comes to home rennovation expertise.  That person is Jim Dillion, and he has already made one trip, will make another on Monday, then he will be with us on the 3rd of May.  His display of a willing heart and sacrifice is a testimony to his faith.

Brian Vaccaro spoke with Jim Dillon yesterday (not Jim Sessions sorry about the name mistake in my last e-mail)  and since putting up drywall will be the focus of the trip, he suggested the people bring drywall finishing tools.  Below are some things he mentioned that might be good to bring:

cordless drills
screw guns
drywall/sanding tools
utility knives and T squares
step ladders or 6 foot ladders

I know on this trip we can do a lot of good work in a very efficient manner if we can get 5 to 6 people to volunteer, so please let me know if you can be there on 3 May from 8 to 2 or however long you can volunteer.  The Knights are about doing good for others, join me for a very worthy cause-let's help this family make their house into a home!  Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to receiving your reply. God Bless,

(Chancellor) Joe Lynem
