Knights In Action
| This year's event occured on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Volunteers from Pope John Paul II Council 4522 were Jim Hathaway, project coordinator, Deputy Grand Knight Joe Lynem, FDD/PGK Ron Plavchan, FDD/PGK Dick Owen, PGK Bob Kreider, LTC Tim Murtha, Paul Hebert, & Andy Zaccardi. Many volunteers from neighboring churches helped to unload the donated food items from the truck and stack the shelves of the ACCA Food Pantry, led by the "Chairperson of the Pantry" Jean Rackowski. The Postmistress, Letter Carriers, and window clerks of the Annandale Post Office pitched in with the loading of the ACCA truck. |
